It was 3 AM and it seemed like a quiet night in the subway station. There were no more trains at this time so for Tom, the security guard, this was perfect! He was playing games on his phone and sometimes he would look up at the screens to see if anything interesting was happening, which, to be honest, never really happened. Tom enjoyed this shift because it was usually uneventful and he could relax without having to worry about a stressful crowd. He would often take a break and grab a snack from the vending machine or take a quick nap in the break room. He also liked to take a stroll around the station to make sure everything was in order. On the rare occasions when something did happen, he was always prepared to handle it. Tom enjoyed the night shift because it was usually peaceful and he could take his time to do his job.
But this night was like no other. Suddenly, he spotted a young blonde woman walking on the platform. Then he noticed something. He quickly grabbed his walkie-talkie and alerted the other guards. He was on high alert now, and he was ready to take action if necessary. He kept his eyes on the woman, but she seemed to be minding her own business. He was relieved, but he was still cautious. He continued to patrol the station, making sure everything was in order. He was thankful that the night shift was usually uneventful, but he was also prepared for any unexpected events. He was vigilant and alert, ready to take action if needed. Upon closer look, he saw something about her that made him turn pale. This can’t be true! He called the police immediately!
