In a heartbreaking development that has deeply affected the nation, authorities have now confirmed the identities of the victims involved in the tragic helicopter crash that took place late Tuesday afternoon over

the Hudson River. The small charter helicopter, which was traveling from Westchester to downtown Manhattan, fell into the waters following what officials are describing as a “catastrophic mechanical failure.”

The recovery operations, which persisted throughout the night, revealed not only debris but also unimaginable sorrow. Of the six individuals aboard,

three were confirmed to be children under the age of twelve. All six lost their lives in the incident.
