Juvenile Dead After Single-Vehicle Rollover in Shawano County
TOWN OF BARTELME, Wis. – A juvenile has died following a single-vehicle crash late Friday evening in the Town of Bartelme, Shawano County. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatality in a press release issued early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on County Trunk Highway D near Sixteenth Road. According to the initial investigation, a vehicle traveling westbound on County Trunk D left the roadway and overturned.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and age of the deceased are being withheld at this time pending notification of family.
The cause of the crash remains under active investigation by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office. Further details will be released as they become available.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Bowler Fire Department, Bowler Ambulance, and the Shawano County Coroner’s Office.
