22-year-old woman arrested after allegedly sending nude pictures of herself to 14-year-old
WELLSBURG, N.Y. – A 22-year-old former school employee has been arrested after she allegedly sent nude photographs of herself to a 14-year-old boy over a three-month period, law enforcement officials confirmed.
Anamaria Milazzo, of Elmira, was taken into custody on Monday, June 16, 2025, by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office. She faces charges of second-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
The investigation began after a School Resource Officer at the Greater Southern Tier Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) received a complaint on June 9 regarding the alleged transmission of indecent material to a minor. Investigators determined that Milazzo had allegedly sent the explicit photos to the teenage boy over a period of approximately three months.
A spokesperson for GST BOCES confirmed that Milazzo had been an employee at one of their facilities in Chemung County but has since been terminated. The spokesperson declined to provide further details on Milazzo’s specific role or the duration of her employment, referring all other questions to the Sheriff’s Office.
It has not been publicly disclosed whether the 14-year-old victim was a student at the BOCES facility where Milazzo worked. The identity of the minor is being withheld.
Despite the felony charge, Milazzo was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Wellsburg Village Court at a later date. The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has stated that the investigation is ongoing.
